MPAC is a political action committee and community coalition founded by John Khader and other local leaders around 2015. It focuses on:
- Informing and educating members of the diverse Mediterranean, Arab-American, and broader Westchester County community.
- Giving the community a stronger political voice.
- Endorsing and supporting (primarily Democratic) candidates.
- Holding elected officials accountable.
- Organizing community events, such as the annual Arab American Heritage Day in Yonkers, awards galas recognizing local leaders, senior and veterans luncheons, and other cultural or civic gatherings.
Political and Community Involvement
Khader and MPAC have been active in Yonkers and Westchester politics for years. The group has hosted or been linked to events involving local figures, including his brother former Yonkers City Council President Mike Khader.

At times MPAC has drawn attention in local media for its endorsements and galas.
There have been occasional controversies in local Yonkers discourse, such as criticism in 2022 over a social media post by Khader (under an account linked to his limo business) that some viewed as insensitive regarding gun violence, prompting calls for certain politicians to decline MPAC honors.

John Khader still remains involved in the local Arab-American community.
